Senior Care Associates

If you are living at home in need of care from your family, a home care agency, independent living, assisted living or private paying in a skilled nursing facility you may be eligible for up to $2,295 per month to cover those expenses. This is a tax-free VA pension called Aid and Attendance which was put into place in 1952. It is directly deposited into your bank account such as social security. This additional money can be used to cover your care expenditures as you are aging. This is NOT a welfare program like Medicaid. You can own a home and have significant money in your assets to still qualify.
